Open Evenings

Dates for 2011-12

We are holding Open Evenings throughout the year so that you can come and find out more about the College and the subjects you may wish to study.  Our next Open Evening is taking place on:

  • Wednesday 21st March 6 - 8pm

Come and find out more about the College and what makes us one of the top performing inclusive Sixth Forms on the Wirral and why you should study with us.

Throughout the evening you will be able to find out about the wide range of courses we have available (and don't forget you can study them in any combination!).  As well as talking to the subject staff you can also attend different talks which will give you more information on the College and why it is a great place to study.

Principal's Talk (The Hub 2)

Kathryn Podmore and other members of our Senior Management Team will provide an overview of the College and why it is a great place to choose for your sixth form education.

Followed by:

Using technology to support learning and achievement (The Hub 2)

Mal Blackburne, College Learning Manager, will be talking about how the College is leading the way in using technology to support learning and achievement.

If you have any questions regarding the College, your education and how we can support you, the Senior staff welcome you to join them in the Conference room to answer any questions you might have.

  • Attend talks by our Principal and other senior managers and find out about how we are committed to ensuring that our students achieve and exceed expectations
  • Find out more about the wide range of qualifications we have on offer for September 2012
  • Meet our current students and see examples of their work
  • See our Performing Arts students perform
  • Speak with our experienced subject and personal tutors who will support you at College
  • Find out about how we support and prepare our students for applying to University or applying for employment
  • Find out about the wide range of enrichment activities we have on offer
  • Look around our facilities and try out some of the technology that you will have access to whilst you are at College
